(Philadelphia) September 24, 2018 - REC Philly has been announced as the entertainment curator for the inaugural 3-day tech conference Project NorthStar. Organized by Black & Brown Founders and the City of Philadelphia, Project NorthStar will take place October 3-5, 2018 and provide connections, education and opportunities to hundreds of current and aspiring entrepreneurs and knowledge workers from the Black and Latinx community who want to build a tech company or launch a career in tech.

REC Philly serves as an agency and incubator for musicians, artists and creative entrepreneurs. The organization provides access to the necessary tools to advance their skills including recording and photography equipment, a space for performances & collaboration and a network of professionals who can help with their pursuits at a full-time career from their craft.

“I am looking forward to the incredible talent that REC Philly has lined up for Project NorthStar. We’re all going to be learning so much, it’s great to have some fun thrown in there, as well,” said Aniyia Williams, Executive Director of Black & Brown Founders.

REC Philly will provide talent and media production services for Project NorthStar including a performance by &More (Chill Moody & Donn T), a Block Party Lunch with A-List, happy hour with Bree and the Reeds,  and live painting throughout the conference by Ockimey.
